Whoooooooooaaaaa, that's so intense.
Yeah, I don't know.
Okay...
So first of all, no I don't really wonder whether rats can laugh...
I don't actually spend any time thinking about rats in general.
Ever.
Is that weird?
Weeeeeell, here's the article anyway.

Bigfoot.
Sasquatch.
Yeti.
Abominable snowman.
Awesome things are awesome.
Many cultures have recognized the epic awesomeness that is the Yeti, but why?
Scientists have theorized that it is all part of the human fascination with another type of human on the same planet, hidden behind a shroud of myth....
Whoa.
The legendary Frame 352 from the Patterson-Gimlin film, an alleged Bigfoot. |
Hehe. Yeti. http://stokeparanormalsociety.blogspot.com/p/yeti.html |

Well, I definitely already knew that seals were awesomesauce, but now...
Holy shizniblets.
So, in order to determine the melting rate of the Fimbul Ice Shelf (in Antarctica), scientists employed some incredible tactics.
They needed to know how fast the shelf is melting because it is so close to the East Antarctic Ice Shelf - the largest in the world.
If this shelf were to melt, water levels would be altered worldwide.
So. Elephant seals. Whoa.
They attached sensors to these magnificent beings that measure salinity, temperature, and depth.
Going where no scientists can, these guys can revolutionize our knowledge of these icy areas.
Elephant seal...cuteness...overwhelming...GAH SCROLLING DOWN. |

Summer.
Tis upon us, sci-guys.
And I know everyone loves going to the beach at this time of year...heck, who doesn't?
But safety is extremely important.
So.
Rip currents.
Educate yourselves.
So these guys usually form at low tides and between sandbars, and they look kind of like round, lightbulbish shapes in the water that can be between two waves. Danger! Danger! Dudes. Swim sideways. |

Science..... *swag*
Hehe.
Happy Summer.
